MSL/Curiosity: Game Show Fun!

Last Saturday, August 11th, team members from NASA's Mars Science Laboratory / Curiosity mission were featured on National Public Radio's game show, "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" The guests were Curiosity flight engineers Adam Steltzner ("Elvis Hair Guy") and Bobak Ferdowski ("Mohawk Guy").

The episode was broadcast August 11th and recorded at the Chase Auditorium in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to show host Peter Sagal and judge/scorekeeper Carl Kassell, the panelist were Tom Bodett, Amy Dickinson, and Roy Blount Jr.

Steltzner and Bobak were invited to play a game called "Try landing on this Mars!" In contrast to the Curiosity flight team's recent achievement of landing the rover on the Martian surface, Bobak and Steltzner were asked three questions about the Mars candy company. The questions and answers were fun and entertaining. And somewhere along the way, they actually got around to playing the game! As of this writing the pages are still available online for reading and listening. So please go check them out, and enjoy.
